Amboseli National Park

 

Known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is home to large herds of elephants, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and various bird species. The dry season (June-October) is ideal for wildlife viewing as animals congregate around water sources.

 

Tsavo National Parks

Tsavo East and Tsavo West together form one of the largest national parks in Kenya, offering diverse landscapes ranging from savannahs and hills to volcanic cones and lava fields. Tsavo is famous for its large herds of elephants, as well as its predators such as lions and leopards.

 

Samburu National Reserve
Located in Kenya’s northern region, Samburu is renowned for its unique wildlife
species not commonly found elsewhere, such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s
zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Ng’iro River running through the
reserve attracts diverse wildlife, making it a rewarding safari destination.

 

Lake Nakuru National Park:

Although relatively small in size, Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its vast populations of pink flamingos that flock to the alkaline lake. Besides flamingos, the park is also home to rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and various bird species.

 

Laikipia Plateau
